ALLEGHANY PUBLIC SERVICES BUILDING
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice is given that Sierra County Department of Transportation is soliciting sealed bids for the Alleghany Public Services Building. The work to be done includes provision of all labor and materials necessary for the construction of the project as specified in the Technical Specification and Plans which includes new vehicle storage building, one story, pre-engineered metal building, 3200 sq ft unconditioned area, 16 ft eve height.
Plans, specifications, proposal forms, project manuals and all documents relating to this project can be downloaded from the Sierra County Website; transmitted electronically; or be obtained at the office of the Department of Public Works, 101 Courthouse Square, P.O. Box 98, Downieville, CA 95936 (Telephone: 530-289-3201) and may be seen at said office. Contract documents are available electronically via internet or email at no charge, otherwise there will be a nonrefundable charge of $20.00 for each set of documents, and an additional charge of $5.00 will be made if those documents are mailed. Visit www.sierracounty.ws, Transportation and Public Works Projects section. The complete bid package must be printed, completed and submitted per bidding instructions for consideration.
Contractor will be required to possess a Class B contractor's license at the time the bids are opened.
There will NOT be a pre-bid conference.
Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the office of the Sierra County Clerk-Recorder, Sierra County Courthouse, located at 100 Courthouse Square, P.O. Drawer D, Downieville, California 95936.
It is the planholders responsibility to request addition to the planholders list. Addendum or announcements will only be transmitted to planholders on the planholders list.
