Effective July 1, 2009 the Sierra County Clerk-Recorder’s office will be suspending the collection of the additional $1.00 fee for filing every instrument, paper, or notice for record pursuant to Government Code Section 27361.4(b) in order to accommodate county office closures due to county furloughs.
Beginning July 1, 2009 the fee for recording the first page of a document will be reduced from $8.00 to $7.00.
