Effective July 1, 2010 the Sierra County Clerk-Recorder’s office will be reinstating the collection of an additional $1.00 fee for filing every instrument, paper, or notice for record pursuant to Government Code Section 27361.4(b) which pertains to the days of operation of the office.
Beginning July 1, 2010 the fee for recording the first page of a document will be increased from $7.00 to $8.00.
